इतिहासात प्रथमच प्रशिक्षण संस्थांच्या संघटनेची स्थापना करण्यात आली आहे.

आधुनिक मानवी आयुष्यामध्ये प्रशिक्षण हि अतिशय महत्वाची गरज आहे. एकविसाव्या शतकाची मानवाला मिळालेली अपरिहार्यता म्हणजे प्रशिक्षण. आधुनिक युगात एका व्यक्तीला एका आयुष्यात अनेकवेळा नव्यानव्या विषयांचे, तंत्रांचे, कौशल्यांचे प्रशिक्षण घ्यावे लागते. जीवनाच्या प्रत्येक पैलू मध्ये दरदिवशी बदलणाऱ्या तंत्रज्ञानामुळे सतत नव्या गोष्ठी शिकाव्या लागतात, आत्मसात कराव्या लागतात.

पारंपारिक शिक्षण पद्धतीमध्ये थीअरॉटिकल शिक्षणावर जास्त भर असतो. व्यक्तिमत्वाची, ज्ञानाची, निर्णय क्षमतेची पायाभरणी व्हावी अशी अपेक्षा असते. शिक्षणाचा कालावधी निश्चित असतो पण त्यामधून मिळणारे रिझल्ट्स वेगवेगळे असतात. शिक्षण आणि त्याची पद्धती कालसुसंगत राहत नाही. आधुनिक उद्योग व्यवसायासाठी गरजेची कौशल्ये आणि शाळा कॉलेज मधील पारंपारिक शिक्षण यामध्ये मोठी तफावत असते. पदवी / पदविका मिळवलेल्या विद्यार्थाला इंडस्ट्रीच्या गरजांनुसार वेगवेगळी कौशल्य शिकवण्याचं अतिशय महत्वाचे असं काम स्वतःची संस्था चालवणारा संस्थाचालक कोणत्याही शासकीय अथवा सामाजिक पाठबळाशिवाय करत असतो. असे अनेक स्किल सेट्स शिकवून विद्यार्थ्याला नोकरी साठी सक्षम बनवण्याचं काम केवळ खासगी प्रशिक्षण संस्था चालक करतो. पण इतक्या महत्वाच्या कामाची योग्य ती दखल घेतली जात नाही. एक प्रकारे हा Thankless Job होऊन बसतो.

It is for the first time in the history an Association of Training Centers is formed. Training is one of the most important aspects of modern human life. Training is that inevitability of the twenty first century whereby a citizen of modern times needs to obtain training on different new subjects, technologies and skills, time and again. The ever changing nature of different aspects of human life and technologies makes training mandatory for all.

Traditional Education System has more emphasis on theoretical education. It attempts to form the foundation of one’s personality, knowledge, decision making power etc. The duration of any Educational Program is fixed, but the result varies from person to person. Education system mostly fails to remain contemporary. There is a big gap between the traditional school / college education and the requirements of the business and industry.

This challenging task of bridging the gap between the expectation of the job market and educated job seeker is done by different training institute owners and that too without any support from social or government backing.
